About friendship ~ The Awesome Shefali Jhaveri

This Blog is not restricted to edtech, teaching and learning. This is all about what I love to share, who and what inspire me and a post on friendship totally fits.

Meet Shefali Jhaveri, my best friend. I met Shefali at the Google Teacher Academy in 2014. We attended this life-changing event as we were part of the 50 selected educators for this adventure. We had the opportunity to sit at the same table for the two days of workshop and since then, our friendship kicked off and just grew stronger and stronger.

Shefali is the Tech Integrationist at the Canadian International School in Bangalore. She is a Leader in EdTech. She is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Trainer and Innovator and Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship Educator (among other titles) but above and beyond this she is a kind, positive, enthusiastic, empathetic, gentle human being.

She inspired me to move from teaching to edtech coaching. Without her, I would not have had the confidence and the knowledge I have today. She not only shared so many resources to get me started in my new school and pushed me in every attempt I made to grow, she honestly opened up her heart to being more than a friendly colleague and became my most trusted friend, my best friend.

In the last few years, I grew pretty fast as a professional. I should give myself some credit of course, I choose to challenge myself, but Shefali played a significant role in my learning journey and I will be forever grateful for that.

So Shefali, I can’t wait to see you next month in Bangalore 🙂 Till now, here is a collage of us. With Love.
